About the Saskatoon Regional Science Fair

The Saskatoon Regional Science Fair provides an opportunity for young scientists from Saskatoon and the surrounding region to delve into STEM projects, develop relationships with scientific mentors, present their research, and connect with like-minded peers. It also allows youth scientists to compete for prizes and vie for a chance to represent the Saskatoon Region at the Canada Wide Science Fair.

Participant Eligibility

All students from grades 6-12 in Saskatoon and area are eligible to participate in the Saskatoon Regional Science Fair. Students can register individually or in a group of two (both students should be at the same level: junior or senior). If schools or teachers wish to register projects, please contact us at saskatoonsciencefair@gmail.com. Students in grades 7-12 are eligible to advance to the Canada-Wide Science Fair.

Ethics and Safety

All projects presented at the Saskatoon Regional Science Fair must follow ethics and safety guidelines of Youth Science Canada, found at mySTEMspace. This is particularly important if your research involves human participants or animals.
